Sun-Mi Hong – Drums, PercussionEuropean pianist and composer Philipp Rüttgers creates his own voice through a dedicated study of
classical / improvised and contemporary music, emerging to a storyteller of a special kind.
He explores the possibilities of the digital and acoustic world, combining both to push his sound
vision to the limit.
Born and raised in Berlin he now lives in Amsterdam for the last three years.
In 2018 he received the prestigious North Sea Jazz Festival Composition Assignment and currently
released his new duo album “Changing Landscapes” with composer and viola player Oene van
Geel. He is a member of the Chronometers Ensemble and also composes for panflutist Matthijs
Koene, guitarist Stefan Gerritsen or Orkest de Ereprijs. He also works interdisciplinary with Danser
Miri Lee or Introdans.Born and raised in In-Cheon, Korea; Sun-Mi has a unique perspective of life after her last seven
years in Amsterdam. With a signature of rooted groove in combination with well tempered
outbursts, Sunmi has placed herself strongly in the Dutch jazz scene. By approaching the moment in
a somewhat meditative fashion, she achieves the ability to bring something entirely original to the
